Side by Side- Original Textured Seascape Painting

Side by side is a 60 × 60 cm painting inspired by a memory from this summer, when my sister and I went paddleboarding together in Cornwall.

I wanted to capture that feeling of being out on the water together, surrounded by this huge expanse of blue. The two tiny paddleboarders are loosely inspired by the two of us, kept deliberately small within the painting to give that sense of space and calm you get when you're out on the sea.

The paddleboards are raised from the surface of the canvas, adding a subtle sculptural element and casting tiny shadows across the painted water.
