Hammer Coral 01

Hammer Coral is a textured artwork inspired by the intricate forms and structures found beneath the surface of the ocean, particularly Hammer Coral.

Handcrafted from clay, the piece explores the movement, texture and organic repetition found within coral reefs. The flowing forms create subtle movement across the surface, changing with the light throughout the day.

The artwork is presented on a Farrow & Ball Oval Room Blue background, to allow the textures to take centre stage. Most of my work is inspired by the coast and the natural patterns found both above and below the waterline, this piece was designed to bring a sense of calm, depth and connection to nature into a space.
